Our March Theme: Honey - The Original Aphrodisiac

For over 4000 years, the medicinal value of honey has been recognized by humans. It is said to help alleviate everything from allergies to arthritis. But what you may not have realized is that it the same properties that make honey a medicinal powerhouse, also lend to benefiting your love life. It is rich in B vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids which are widely believed to promote virility and reproductive health.

Actually, as far back as 500BC, honey has been known as an aphrodisiac food. It was said that Greek physician Hippocrates, one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine, prescribed honey for sexual vigor and advocated the taking of milk and honey to induce love and ecstasy. It's also worth noting that Avicenna, another great ancient healer and philosopher, who is known as the Father of Modern Medicine, apparently recognized the superb value of honey to the human body as he described the golden liquid as "the food of foods, the drink of drinks and the drug of drugs."

We could write a small book on all the amazing qualities of honey and the bees that make it, but instead we have just packed this little box full of pleasure toys and honey laden goodies that will enrich your health and your love life as well.

MARCH QUEEN BEE BOX REVEAL:

We start our honey infused experience with these lovely GemHoney bath salts by Wild Honey Apothecary. Both blends are a mixture of crystal quartz charged Mediterranean sea salt, epsom salt, bio dynamic honey and organic essential oils and resins. Hand blended and full of good vibrations, we have included 2 delicious variations - Dream Catcher infused with cacao, jasmine, and cinnamon. And Love Electric infused with lemongrass, and ylang ylang. Each of these essential oils have benefits for the mind and body - run a bath and soak up all the benefits.

What better vehicle for honey than tea? There may be nothing more luxurious and relaxing than this handmade herbal tea blend by LunaTeas. Tea.K.O. is a delicate blend of chamomile, peppermint, valerian root, catnip and passionflower.
